H.O.N.O.R. is a non proft ministry designed to serve our elders respectfully by providing free minor home maintenance and repairs for those aged 60 and above. We're an all volunteer program and serve as the elders extended family.
Is your sink leaking? Is your toilet running? Is the light switch not working? Do you need a grab bar in the bath room? Do your bushes and yard need to be cleaned and trimmed? Is your roof leaking in one spot?
Would you like to share your talents by helping others? You can either be a Team Leader or a Team Member. Come join an all volunteer group who offer whatever time they have available with no commitments.

Feb. 16, 2010 H.O.N.O.R. Receives Funding for an interactive website from the Community Foundation of Greater Lakeland and the George Jenkins fund.

In funding this request, H.O.N.O.R. will now be able to concentrate on the Elder Needs and not on the administrative portion. This new website and database allows for the tracking of all volunteers, elder requests, when a request is taken on, by whom, when and track all the expenses associated with it. Reporting will be nothing more than a push of a button. Finally, we've automated as much of the behind-the-scenes work!
